The fall bird banding season came to a close on Saturday, November 2.

are the overall totals for the fall 2019 bird banding season at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Macomb County, Michigan.
The station was
open on 23 days from August 4- November 2, for a total of 146.00 hours, and
1981.25 net hours. A total of 1432 birds of 74 species was banded this fall, plus 57 individuals returning from previous years. A more
complete report will be compiled over the next couple of months and will be posted to the Bird Banding Reports page accessible via the link above.
